Dr.P.RAVI KUMAR

Dr. P. Ravi Kumar, Professor & HoD, Department of Mechanical Engineering obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BE) from Osmania University, Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering (M.Tech) with Specialization of Machine Design from JNTU, Kakinada and Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering from JNTU, Hyderabad. He also obtained MBA from Dr.BR Ambedkar Open University, Hyderabad, PG Diploma in Plastics Engineering from Central Institute of Plastics Engineering and Technology, Hyderabad, PG Diploma in Industrial Engineering and Management from Andhra Pradesh Productivity Council, Hyderabad.

He is a Fellow of Institution of Engineers and Member of Indian Society for Technical Education. He is also a Fellow of International Society for Research and Development. He is also a member of International Association of Engineers. He has 21 years of teaching Experience out of which 15 years of experience in CMR College of Engineering & Technology itself. He joined in the Department of Mechanical Engineering in CMR College of Engineering & Technology on 21st June 2004. He is a paper setter for various Universities and guided more than 50 B.Tech Projects. He has 13 Journal papers, 16 International and 18 national conference paper presentations to his credit. His technical papers are presented in International Conferences in Venice, Switzerland, Austria and Japan apart from India. His areas of interest are Design and Manufacturing. He is author of a Text Book of Engineering Thermodynamics.
