Dr. A. Kotishwar
Department of Master of Business Administration
Dr. A. Kotishwar is a distinguished academician and Professor (ratified by JNTUH in 2023), currently serving as the Head of the MBA Department. With more than two decades of dedicated experience in teaching, research, and academic administration, his area of specialization is Finance, with a particular emphasis on Behavioural Finance.
He holds an MBA from Osmania University, and M.Phil. from Alagappa University, and a Ph.D. from Bharathiar University. Dr. Kotishwar has an impressive research profile, having published over 60 research papers in reputed National and International Journals, including Scopus-indexed and UGC-recognized publications. He also holds six patents, reflecting his commitment to innovation and applied research.
In addition to his academic contributions, Dr. Kotishwar serves as a Peer Team Member for the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), UGC, India, actively contributing to quality assurance in higher education.
He is a recognized Research Guide in Management Studies for several prestigious universities, including Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad, Annamalai University, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, and Bharatiya Engineering Science and Technology Innovation University. Three research scholars have successfully completed their Ph.D. degrees under his guideship and also guiding two research scholars currently.
His research excellence has been acknowledged through six Best Paper Awards at various National and International Conferences.
Dr. Kotishwar is also the Chief Editor of the SUMEDHA Journal of Management, with over a decade of editorial experience. He serves on the Editorial Boards of several prestigious Journals and is also a Reviewer for Scopus-indexed and other reputed National and International Journals where he also contributes to maintaining high standards of scholarly publication.
He actively participates as a resource person, session chair, and Convenor in conferences and Faculty Development Programs. He has been appointed as an Examiner for Ph.D. thesis evaluation by several reputed universities, including Bharathiar University, University of Mumbai, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, University of Madras, and Vels Institute of Science, Technology & Advanced Studies.
Dr. Kotishwar is a Member of Faculty Selection Committees for various colleges and serves as a Board of Studies (BoS) Member for several institutions, contributing to curriculum design and academic governance.
Dr. Kotishwar is a Life Member of the Indian Commerce Association, Indian Accounting Association, and Telangana Commerce Association, reflecting his active engagement with professional academic bodies.
Under his able leadership, the MBA Department at CMRCET has achieved NBA Accreditation and has been recognized as a Research Centre by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH). The department continues to progress in academic excellence, research innovation, and the holistic development of future management professionals.
