About Department
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering – Data Science is established in the year 2021. This B.Tech program in Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science) is specifically designed and offered by the department of Computer Science and Engineering in response to the rapidly developing field of Data Science. This program has been started with an intake of 60 in the year 2021 and later the intake had extended to 180 in the year2023.
Data Science is a growing branch of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE).
Data science is a relatively recent and interdisciplinary field within computer science. It is concerned with the gathering, preparation, analysis, visualization, management, and preservation of massive amounts of information in order to generate value from the data itself. Today’s effective data professionals should be able to master the entire data science life cycle, including programming abilities.
