The Tenth year ranking of universities and higher educational institutes, based on the government’s National Institute of Ranking Framework (NIRF), was declared by Union Minister of Education, Shri. Dharmendra Pradhan on 04 September 2025. The rankings for all colleges and universities across the country have been done on the basis of teaching, learning, and resources; research and professional practice, graduation outcome; outreach and inclusivity; and peer perception.

CMR college of engineering and technology secured rank in the band of 201-300 in Engineering Category consecutively for second year. The institute is UGC Autonomous and even accredited by NBA and NAAC with ‘NAAC A+’ Grade. The placements in this year has crossed 800 Mark till date and the process is still on. The institute also offers B.Tech Courses in Emerging Areas like Computer Science & Design, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning and Data Science. The lush green 20 Acres Campus, situated in Kandlakoya, Medchal Road has been the first choice option to both urban and rural students of Telangana.
