The IETE Students’ Forum at CMRCET stands as a proud initiative, shaping students into competent, creative and future-ready engineers. Founded in 1953, IETE promotes science and technology in electronics, telecom, IT and related fields via conferences, journals, workshops and student programs.

Recognized as a Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (SIRO) and an institution of national eminence, it serves over 120,000 members through more than 60 centers in India and abroad. Key activities include technical meetings, symposia and publications—such as the IETE Journal of Research—and student forums (ISF) for skill development and industry exposure.
